Elon Musk Is Out Of Control: Tesla’s Collapse
Protests have spread across the country against Tesla stores, and the stock price has dropped a lot. Tesla’s stock price went down by 15% today. People who own shares will be very angry there. It was the worst day for the business in almost five years. Even Twitter had a bad day, which is saying a lot. There were huge outages that Musk said were caused by a cyberattack in Ukraine.
And Americans are getting tired of this guy more and more. Polls show that Musk’s approval rate is always below 50%. It looks like some people in Trump’s White House are also tired of it. Trump cabinet members are said to have had a disagreement with Musk last week over how he planned to change the federal government.
And the fact that people are angry about Elon Musk from everywhere at the same time gives Democrats a chance. They are putting him front and center in their messages more and more. And, of course, in attack ads all over the land. Who is going to pay for it? Us. We lost our jobs. The cost of our groceries went up. Our home is too expensive.
Our perks were cut. All so that billionaires can get rich. Elon Musk has lost his mind. Now the power-hungry millionaire is selling things for a lot of money to buy the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He knows that the MAGA candidate Brad Schimel can be bought. Fass, Simone, and Brendan are back at the table with me.
Here’s what’s going on. I get it. In a way, he’s an easy target. Musk is. But I want to go back to where Simone was at the start of the last talk, since that’s where we both stand. I believe that if Democrats only get mad at Musk, they will miss the point. In the present, you miss the mark. I believe that your ads should cover a wider range of topics.
That’s fine. That’s fine. That’s not the end goal, though. Donald Trump is the end goal. Yes, and making some of these choices Donald Trump’s responsibility. Musk is, you know, kind of his heat shield right now. But it’s also true that Elon Musk is putting money into these races for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Cuts are being made to Social Security offices all over the place by him. Not only that, but he has the power to take $55 billion from Tesla, the company he’s destroying right now. $55 billion. In other words, before CEOs got $100 million a year. Oh, that was rude. $55 billion. He is a very important person in the Republican world right now. That’s something we shouldn’t forget. But you’re right.

Trump, the buck stops with him at the end of the day. He is the one who calls these shots. He’s giving him strength. And you can tell that Marco Rubio is upset because there are more and more rumors about it in the news. Sean Duffy is mad at him. It’s possible that even Trump will have to. No one is more angry at him than Steve Bannon, who may be the loudest. I’m okay with the Civil War going on for a little while.
In that case, Simone, Elon was on TV today. I believed. I wonder what he’s so upset about. It was on Fox Business. So let’s take a quick look at what Elon shared on Fox Business. A huge amount of fraud happens when people use stolen social security numbers to apply for medical care, jobless benefits, or loans from the Small Business Administration. We’re trying to stop all of that.
I think that number is around 10% of all the money the federal government spends. Honey, there would be a black market for Social Security numbers if it were that easy to sell them. Also, this would have a black, blue, red, white, and blue store. It would be easy for Pookie, Joe, Keisha, and Juan to get rich. They would all be very wealthy. People from all over the world would be mixed in.

But you can’t just press a button and make it go away. That means we should take this a little more seriously. Let’s give what we’re doing a little more thought. You see, he’s making things very hard for his boss, both in terms of the content and the politics.
In that case, is there a point where he’s too dangerous for Donald Trump to handle? Yes, of course. And I believe Donald Trump has a very good sense of politics. Like, I think he’ll get rid of him really quickly if he sees that this is making him lose more than gain. In a way, he can’t really fire him because he needs his money for political reasons. That being said, Musk is going through a lot of pain for very little gain, firing people and making a lot of chaos.
What he’s really talking about is a very small cash savings. He’s not keeping the spending in check. They still don’t have any money saved. They don’t have any money saved. May I make one point? I know you’re leaving soon. So, the point you made about all the attention on Elon Musk is a good one. We often talk about how some things are similar between now and when Putin first took power in Russia in 2000.
Economic Impact
We don’t know the names of any Russian billionaires, but we do know Putin, right? I think the problem with focusing so much on Elon Musk in messages is that it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. The goal is not Elon Musk. The Republicans in general. It’s not clear to me why Democrats aren’t using messaging to make Mike Johnson and Republicans in the House and Senate look like naïve fools who are being pushed around by an unelected millionaire who decided to get into politics one day.
That’s some of it. To go back to what you said about the message piece and what Brendan said, there are holes there. How are they going to help you? I want to bring up Donald Trump again, even though I’m not a big fan of him. As this circle went on, I watched him hundreds and hundreds of times. I promise that if you elect me, I will cut the federal government to pieces. This is something he never talked about, but I saw a lot of them.
I’m going to get rid of all Medicaid funds. It will go down if you put me in office. I am sending my arsonists. The federal government is being shut down. Never said those things. Never made a case for them. A lot of people now feel like they were tricked and hoodwinked. But what did he do when Project 2025 put this out in a plan? We all remember.
He said, “Not mine.” That’s not my plan or my idea. That was not true. It was a complete lie. That’s something we know. Then what is the answer to that? The ads need to be shown, and I believe Democrats need to be more careful with what they say. I will say that they have been spied on when it comes to Social Security and, more lately, Medicaid. That has been made very clear. A lot of people don’t think about where they stand on that.
I do think that telling the stories of real people who are being hurt will make a difference and remember people that Social Security has never missed a payment in 80 years. And the way this government is running things, some people might not get their checks next month. I have a lot more that we could talk about with this one. A lot more.
