Former New York Yankee star Brett Gardner is in mourning over the passing of his Son. The baseball alum and his wife posted the sad news on social media that their fourteen-year-old son Miller had passed suddenly following illness on a family trip. The comment comes through the New York Yankees X page formerly Twitter.
We regretfully report the death of Miller, our younger son, with heavy hearts. Along with numerous other family members on vacation, he was 14 years old and has left us way too soon after falling sick. Miller was a loving son and brother; we cannot yet understand our existence without his contagious smile.
He loved football, baseball, golf, hunting, fishing, his family and his friends. Every single day he led life to the utmost. The pair closes their message thanking their friends and relatives for their help amid trying circumstances.
We really appreciate all those who have contacted us to provide encouragement and help during this trying period. As we grieve, our prayers reach not only to all those families who have lost children far too young but also to miller’s friends and teammates. Further information regarding the reason of their son’s death is lacking. Miller fourteen years old.
